Callaway is undoubtedly one of the greatest names in the golfing world. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that every golfing iron, driver or wedge they produce has been rigorously tested by passionate golfers to ensure it meets their high mark of quality. If you want to put more spirit into your game than you can do no better than the callaway razr x irons, it is true they are a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and when you are looking at superior equipment, you would expect the engineering technological advances to be reflected in the price tag.
The key technology is the all-stainless steel iron repositions 30 grams to the lower portion of the cavity, to create a large sweet spot in line with where average golfers strike the ball (low on the face). Consistent, high ball speeds combine with stronger lofts (long irons strengthened by 2°, short irons by 1°) to produce shots that fly 5 yards longer on average than X-22s.
The Shafts of the callaway razr x irons on these are at least adequate for the task. The Graphite Models are your typical Callaway OEM Shaft, though the new sense of quality control is evident in their newly re-acquired consistency. They range from as feathery as 61 Grams in a Light Flexed Wedge to as hefty as 79 Grams in A Stiff Flexed Long Iron. The flex steel shafts are True Temper Lights with a slightly softer tip for more of that easy launch. The graphite shafts feature a Low Kick Point in Light Flex, a mid-low kick point in Regular Flex, and a Mid Kick Point in Stiff Flex.
There are some customers who have bought the callaway razr x, have their own opinions about the golf set. The razr x irons are very nice irons. They have a lot of callaway's trademark manufacturing points as in techno-kitsch, good distance, good balance, above average forgiveness, and that new found sense of pride in their quality control.
