RAZR Fit a Perfect Match in Dubai

The 28-year-old Quiros won the European Tour’s final event of the season with a spectacular tee-to-green effort that showcased his prodigious length off the tee and a red-hot putter when it had to be. He finished 19-under-par for the tournament, carding rounds of 68, 64, 70 and 67. Quiros, who was honoured last week for being the longest driver on the European Tour for the 2011 season, switched to the new RAZR Fit driver in early November at the WGC-HSBC Champions event, and the results have been impressive.

In Dubai, just his fourth tournament with the new driver, Quiros led the field in driving distance by averaging 311 yards off the tee on his way to victory. One week earlier, he finished tied for seventh at the UBS Hong Kong Open while averaging an incredible 327 yards off the tee. With Sunday’s win, he vaulted to No. 21 in the Official World Golf Rankings, securing a spot in the 2012 Masters.

Proving that there is plenty more to his game than simply out-driving the competition, Quiros hit 83 percent of greens in regulation this week using his RAZR X Muscleback irons and X-Forged wedges, good for second best in the field. He also used his Odyssey ProType putter to average 1.681 putts per hole, which was sixth best, and rolled in a 60-foot eagle putt on the 72nd hole to put an exclamation point on the victory.
