Callaway X-22 Irons Are Said To Be The Best Callaway Irons

Callaway X22 Irons could be said to be another peak of Callaway Golf Clubs Company achieved after Big Bertha series in 1990s. Let's see the comments and reviews of those who have used Callaway x22 irons.

By Goose from Napa, Ca

I am just a golfer at average playing level. Although I am just an average golfer, I am still strongly wish to improve my hitting skills, including the distance and accuracy. Since I went out two or three times a week for the last 2 years, I have made the best long term investement for my game. At first, I only have a FT-9 driver and Callaway x22 5 iron and 7 iron. With the slowly and steady improvement of my golf playing, I began to realize it is necessary to buy the rest of my set.

I played my Callaway X14's till the grooves went smooth, so I tried the newest, latest, greatest Callaway's and I have to say that I was disappointed. The feel is not there. Oh I hit them further than my X 14's but theres no feel to these clubs. Even with the graphite shafts they feel hard compared to a forged club.

By DANO from BILLINGS, MT

Adds a full shot aspect when closed to the green with a more lofted approach. (and less of half shots with a PW or 9 iron). Not too mention it real SW duties, (the person using it just has to master the sand bunkers) Very pleased I brought a X-22 SW grphite iron.

Purchased these irons 3 mnth ago, changing from my mizunos of 4 yrs.and have found around same dist but where these clubs stand out are there accuracy.ps i also found direct golf dropped the price on these clubs but they gave me the diff in credit cheers

By Matthew

The sweet spot makes it a very forgiving club and good for the average player who wants to improve their handicap by 8-12 strokes over the course of one season

By Mick Cobbold

These are beautifully crafted clubs with a very generous sweet spot. I played my first round with them a couple of days ago and shot 4 strokes below my handicap. I could not believe just how comfortable they felt. I am delighted with them and would strongly recommend them to others.

By Duke from Belfast, ME

Best X-24 HOT Irons for Lowest Price

Most irons today are designed to maximize one specific performance benefit-distance, forgiveness or feel-while sacrificing all other critical areas needed to hit more greens. That’s why razr technology is such a breakthrough. This technology leads the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction advantages of a thin sole in.

These new callaway x-24 hot irons should be on everybody’s short list if they are in the market for a high technology GI iron that offers incredible distance without sacrificing the performance and feel that golfers are looking for with their new sets. While we preferred the blue badge in the back compared to the new orange look, that is merely a personal preference and with how “HOT” these new irons are, the color is fitting to say the least.

Callaway engineers strengthened callaway x-24 hot irons loft in the long and mid-irons the PW is equivalent to in Callaway x-22 irons, increased shaft length by 0.25 inches per club (when compared to X-22), and newly designed the head to account for new weight distribution. The X-24 Hot also features evolutionary improvements to tried-and-true design aspects, for example "variable face thickness" (VFT) technology and "precision notch weighting" in the rear. VFT produces 2.2 mph faster ball speed than the x-24 hot irons perform, for longer, more consistent length on mis-hits. The large cavity notch spreads weight to the heel and toe, for ample head stability and improved accuracy.

Callaway x-24 hot is now the newest Callaway series from the makers of the No.1 irons in golf for the last 13 years. The x-24 hot irons are the longest, most accurate X Series iron ever. These clubs are powered by a consistently hot face that generates peak ball speeds for maximum distance with pinpoint accuracy. The golf set is a new production that comes with the most reasonable price and free shipping worldwide, and great discount on the golf stores.

RAZR X Irons, Cheap Golf for Sale

Callaway is undoubtedly one of the greatest names in the golfing world. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that every golfing iron, driver or wedge they produce has been rigorously tested by passionate golfers to ensure it meets their high mark of quality. If you want to put more spirit into your game than you can do no better than the callaway razr x irons, it is true they are a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and when you are looking at superior equipment, you would expect the engineering technological advances to be reflected in the price tag.

The key technology is the all-stainless steel iron repositions 30 grams to the lower portion of the cavity, to create a large sweet spot in line with where average golfers strike the ball (low on the face). Consistent, high ball speeds combine with stronger lofts (long irons strengthened by 2°, short irons by 1°) to produce shots that fly 5 yards longer on average than X-22s.

The Shafts of the callaway razr x irons on these are at least adequate for the task. The Graphite Models are your typical Callaway OEM Shaft, though the new sense of quality control is evident in their newly re-acquired consistency. They range from as feathery as 61 Grams in a Light Flexed Wedge to as hefty as 79 Grams in A Stiff Flexed Long Iron. The flex steel shafts are True Temper Lights with a slightly softer tip for more of that easy launch. The graphite shafts feature a Low Kick Point in Light Flex, a mid-low kick point in Regular Flex, and a Mid Kick Point in Stiff Flex.

There are some customers who have bought the callaway razr x, have their own opinions about the golf setThe razr x irons are very nice irons. They have a lot of callaway's trademark manufacturing points as in techno-kitsch, good distance, good balance, above average forgiveness, and that new found sense of pride in their quality control.

X-24 HOT Irons, Coming Shock

Maybe Callaway is best known for its big bertha range of drivers, the callaway x-24 hot irons industry’s first stainless steel and wide bodied wood, which launched the company to iconic status with amateur and pro golfers alike. The ever-popular X-Series irons franchise (now in its seventh iteration) has a lot to do with the company’s success. The greater sweet-shot on the Callaway Golf- X-24 Hot Irons clearly aims at the improver’s area in golf rather than the more professional clientele and as such, it is perfect.

Recently, callaway Company has put up a new golf club, callaway x-24 hot ironsThere are some special points in the new club. The engineers at Callaway take a serious look at their clubs and modified the x-24 hot irons into the precision tools they are today. By increasing the length of the shaft by just an extra a quarter inch per club and redistributing the weight in the head, the results are truly outstanding clubs. Callaway designers have introduced the new stealth PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish to the callaway x-24 hot to reduce glare and an impressive, darker look.

The reason why the callaway x-24 hot irons is special is that new stealth PVD finish provides a distinctive dark look that minimizes glare. A hot clubface with a large sweet spot generates faster balls speeds for maximum distance even on off center hits. Precision Notch Weighting moves more weight to the perimeter of the head promoting pinpoint accuracy and control. This enables an optimal CG position that provides strong trajectories. 360 Degree Undercut Channel and Modified work together to provide total performance and enhanced feel for a wide range of golfers

Last week, I have bought this golf set, at first, I bought it for my husband, he didn’t like it very much, but after using it for a long time, it has become one of the best friends, I found his golf skills have improved so much, so today I am pleased to tell you this good thing. You will love this set, at the same time, if you buy this golf club, you can get a pair of gloves as an accessory.

RAZR X Irons Discussion

Maybe the most important clubs in your bag are not your irons, but if you don’t utilize them correctly you will never get to use the most important club in your bag.  If your iron play is not good, then your putter will come in handy for sinking double bogey and triple bogey putts.  However, if your iron play is good, then you will create more birdies and pars opportunities and will lead to a more consistent game.  Sometimes all it takes is the right equipment’s and one of the better choices out there is the callaway razr x irons.

The razr x irons create tighter shots, shorter putts and lower scores through uncompromised performance. Most irons today are designed to maximize one specific performance benefit— distance, forgiveness or feel— while sacrificing all other critical areas needed to hit more greens. To consistently hit it close and shoot lower scores, golfers need to be able to make shots from all areas of the golf course. That's why RAZR Technology is such a breakthrough. This technology will lead the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction advantages of a thin sole iron.

I don’t know which version to get, the razr x irons or the razr x tours. I will not be able to try the clubs before purchasing. i play in the low 80′s but can still manage a 90 now and then. I own mp-32′s, the clubs I started golf with and now using ap 2′s. I love the mizzy and the accuracy of the ap 2′s but I just want the razr x’s, maybe because my only 79 was with the x-22′s. Leaning towards the razr x with a 3 and 4 hybrid because a already own a blade and cavity back but scared the razr x might be to chunky.

Actually, I like the golf set very much, now I am so glad to introduce you this driver, the new callaway irons will be your best choice. Come to buy them, you will make a right choice. The golf clubs in the golf store are excellent; I decide to go there to buy the other productions.

Discuss X-24 HOT Irons

Dr. Alan Hocknell, Callaway's senior vice president of research and development said, "We recognize there are golfers looking for distance gains throughout their entire bag, and thus employed our core technologies and faster ball speeds into the design of X-24 Hot Irons, a longer, more accurate set than any of their predecessors."

Since x-22 irons have become famous, now Callaway Company launches the other great production- callaway x-24 hot ironsFrom the top iron maker that has the history of 13 years of iron making, the x-24 hot irons have some ground breaking improvement in technology. These clubs are powered by a consistently hot face that generates peak ball speeds for maximum distance with pinpoint accuracy. The stealth PVD finish provides a distinctive look that minimizes glare. You can find golf shops of the best callaway x-24 hot to reduce some cost on your X-24.

The callaway x-24 hot irons are the longest, most accurate X-Series iron that Callaway has produced to date. It features Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology which provides a hotter club face with an increased sweet spot, resulting in faster ball speeds across the entire face, even on miss-hits. It also features Precision Notch Weighting which adds discretionary weight to the perimeter of the club for improved accuracy, as well as a lower, deeper center of gravity for optimal trajectory. Its dark PVD finish eliminates glare and frames the ball nicely at address.

The golf set makes a decent first impression; they certainly look the part with the dark PVD finish complimenting the burnt orange graphics very well. I was using the graphite shafts, never my personal preference, but the overall quality was impressive. The shorter irons were very impressive and the wedges were particularly good fun to hit. Moving through the set I became less enamored although this was partly because I’m not very comfortable with the graphite shaft rather than a problem with the clubs themselves. More weight in the perimeter of the head promotes pinpoint accuracy and control and enables an optimal CG position that provides strong trajectories.

If you would like to know more information about the technology of callaway razr x irons, and what specifications are available, you can follow this link to the golfulove.com website, which will open in a new window.

At present, there is a sports becomes more and more popular, which is golf. Because people’s living standard has been improved too much, they have more spare time and money to keep healthy. And playing golf is good for people’s health, besides, it looks cool.

What the features of callaway razr x irons, do you know? At first, the iron set designed to combine forgiveness of wide-sole irons with playability of thin-sole irons. Razr technology shifts center of gravity lower and deeper to increase power and forgiveness. Integrated clubface/undercut cavity system maximizes ball speed for each individual iron. Encourages more shot making from more places; available with graphite or steel shafts. Sets come in several configurations, including 3-PW, 4-AW, 4-SW, 5-PW, 5-SW, 6-SW, and 6-AW. Set includes 6 irons; 5, 6,7,8,9 and PW.
The secret to razr technology is its weight distribution. Callaway shifted the center of gravity 12 percent lower and 15 percent deeper by redistributing 30 grams of weight in the back cavity. The company then tailored a refined VFT face and high-definition undercut cavity to each individual iron. The result is more consistent ball speeds across the club face, increasing distance and accuracy even on mis-hits. In head-to-head tests, Razr X irons were 56 percent more accurate than traditional irons that chase distance at the cost of accuracy. The razr x irons are with tighter shots, shorter putts and lower scores. The Razr X irons deliver uncompromised performance with every swing.

Callaway x22 vs x22 tour

2010 Callaway X-22 Tour Irons are an advanced edition of the X-20 irons manufactured in previous years. According to Callaway, the X-22s are designed for "accomplished golfers" who place high value on feel and stability.

The Callaway X-22 Irons feature the modified "Tru-Bore" design, an advanced version of the original design. A polycarbonate plug at the end of the shaft leads to improved "feel" and performance as a result of less vibration. The club head shape features aspects designed for professional players, such as a thinner top line and narrow sole. However, Callaway has succeeded in combining such facets with an excellent visual appearance and a large sweet spot into a highly forgiving set of irons that can be played by a wide range of golfers of varying abilities.

To improve on the highly successful X-20 Tour Irons, Callaway Golf engineers added new features that allow the X-22 Tour Irons to play even better and feel even softer. Precision Notch Weighting and a new sleeker hosel combine to raise the moment of inertia (MOI) for better stability and allow the center of gravity (CG) to be moved lower and more in line with the center of the face. This generates ideal trajectories and significantly enhances the level of feel. The head shape has been refined with the thinnest possible topline while still using a 360-Degree Undercut Channel, and the optimized sole width progression provides better turf interaction.

I have played both and I think that what Harry put up is pretty close to being 100% accurate. The Callaway X-22 Irons are great GI clubs that keep the ball straight and have a huge sweet spot. The tours have much less and are also great clubs. I felt as though the Callaway X-22 Tour Irons did not really stack up against some of the player’s irons we have tried, but the Callaway X-22 Irons were great irons.

X-24 HOT Irons, Your Love

Designed and built to enhance performance and increase ball speed, the X-24 Hot Irons from Callaway Golf offer a hot club faces with a large sweet spot to generate faster balls speeds--even on off center hits. The irons utilize Callaway's Precision Notch Weighting to move more weight to the perimeter of the club head. This enables an optimal center of gravity (CG) position for stronger trajectories while promoting pinpoint accuracy and control. The X-24 Irons are further refined with 360 Degree Undercut Channel technology and Modified Trubore technology. Trubore technology introduces a shorter, straighter, hollow hosel design that allows more weight to move into the perimeter of the club head while the 360-Degree Undercut Channel further maximizes perimeter weighting for CG that is even lower and farther back in the club head. These paired technologies enlarge the hitting area and stabilize the club head for more forgiveness that provides an improved performance and enhanced feel for a wide range of golfers. X20 irons vs X22

Every two years since 1994, Callaway has released a new line of clubs in their X-series of irons. The two latest models are the X-22 line, released in 2010, and the X-20 line offered in 2008. The clubs for both lines come in game-improvement and Tour models, making them adaptable to any skill level. Determining which set is better suited to your play style is a matter of understanding your needs and budget as a golfer.

The X-20 irons have lofts that are closer in design to their predecessor X-18 clubs, ranging from 21 degrees on the 3-iron to 45 degrees on the pitching wedge. The standard X-20 clubs have a much larger face than the precision head that was developed for the X-20 Tour models and was subsequently passed on to the X-22 generation. The X-20 clubs utilize a straight shaft in the game-improvement models and a tapered shaft in the Tour sets.

The Callaway X-22 have a loft ranging from 21 degrees on the 3-iron to 46 degrees on the pitching wedge. The top line and the sole of the club were thinned from the X-20 models to improve the overall feel and control of the club. When ordering the clubs directly from Callaway, you can customize them with steel or graphite shafts. The club also has a smoother hosel which improves the stability of the club.

Both the X-20 and X-22 Tour lines received high critical reception by appearing on "Golf Digest" magazine's "Hot List" for their respective release years. The magazine praises the control and precision trajectory their testers were able to get from the clubs. The weighting being pushed to the outer edges of the club head creates a lower center of gravity that allows you to get more play off of the turf.

I actually bought a set of x22's. Was playing x16's previously. I think the cavity is gaudy but I never see what that really is such a big issue to some people as long as you can't see it at address. To me setup pretty similar. I didn't directly do a side by side to the x20's but according to cally the x22 are supposed to be thinner top and bottm I thought?

In any case, I think the x22's launch higher and are much easier to hit the 16's. It's been about a year since I hit the 20's so I can't vouch for the difference between the 20's and 22.

X20, So Easy to Hit

The X-Series began in 1997 with the Big Bertha X-12 regular and pro versions and was the company's first attempt at reaching out to the player who needed less forgiveness than the Big Bertha irons. The next generation X-14 irons became the best selling irons in Callaway's history.
Along with the great looks though, the weight of these clubs is just about right aswell. Not too heavy or too light, which is something that would probably be important for any beginner or higher handicapper trying out a set of irons.
So after admiring how good the irons looked, it was time to find out the most important thing of all, how the clubs performed, and if they did what they were made to.
As was intended by Callaway, we found that the X-20s were very easy to hit, even the longer irons didn't pose much trouble. Most shots when struck well felt effortless, producing that great feeling that you often get when you strike an iron well.
I've always liked the shape of Callaway irons and had great success with a set of X18 Pro Series a couple years ago. I wanted a set of irons that were easy to play but not bad to look at so I picked up a set of X20's a couple weeks ago. First off, the reports that the X20's are Callaways version of the X18 Pro Series are not accurate. The X20's have a much wider sole, more offset and a larger head than the X18 Pro Series had. But, they're a very nice iron if you're looking for a game improvement iron that doesn't look too clunky. I thought the feel was pretty good, sort of muted and soft, not at all harsh.

Distance was above average and these irons are very easy to elevate and very, forgiving. There are better options if you want to work the ball but I did find that I could manufacture a draw pretty easily when I wanted. Most of the time I like to hit the ball straight and for that these irons are perfect. I got the stock uniflex shaft and I'm actually pretty impressed with it. Reports are that Callaway is using the "old" Dynamic Gold Lite as their current uniflex shaft. I've played everything in the past from S300 Dynamic Golds to 5.5 and 6.0 Rifles and I found the uniflex shaft to hold up just fine for my swing and I didn't feel like the ball was ballooning at all. Overall I like this iron a lot and I think lot's of us could do worse than to have a set of these in the bag. As the next few weeks go, I'll have a chance to get better aquainted with these irons but so far I'm impressed.

X20 Irons from Callaway

The X Series is about giving serious golfers total performance with enhanced forgiveness for the ultimate in confidence. The new Callaway X-20 Irons deliver in every way by offering technology, innovation and playability that will take your game to a new level. Using the Progressive Wall Reduction System, Callaway Golf engineers lowered the center of gravity (CG) 6 percent more than in the X-18 Irons. Progressive Wall Reduction means the CG gets progressively lower throughout the set. The CG is lowest in the long irons, helping you get the ball airborne more easily. With its traditional styling and Callaway Golf core technologies, the Callaway X-20 Irons  provide the performance and forgiveness to play the game with enhanced confidence.
Callaway X-20 Irons Features:

Extreme Notch Weighting: Redistributes more weight to the extreme perimeter to create a high MOI for greater forgiveness and control.
Progressive Wall Reduction System: Enables Callaway Golf engineers to lower the center of gravity for improved feel and playability with optimal trajectories.
Callaway Core Technologies: VFT® Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2® increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; 180-Degree Undercut Channel maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.

I ordered the Callaway X-20 Irons from Callaway a few weeks ago with Rifle 5.0 shafts, +1" and 2* upright. As always, Callaway's customer service is top-notch and the clubs arrived promptly. After 3 rounds with Callaway X-20 Irons, here are my impressions: These babies are very forgiving. I just upgraded from Ping Eye2 BeCu's, and while I will always love them and refuse to sell them, the 5-7 strokes I've taken off my score are impossible to ignore. Mishits are not severely punished, but you still know when you haven't caught it just right. The trajectory is nice and high, but I haven't had a problem with ballooning at all. The feel of these Callaway X-20 Irons is about the best I've experienced with cast clubs, although still not quite as buttery soft as the BeCu's when you hit it dead square. One more thing, the Callaway X-20 Irons are probably a good 2 irons longer than my Eye2's, granted the lofts are quite a bit stronger, however I have played similarly lofted clubs in the past and these just seem longer. I'm still working on calibrating my yardages. Overall, I give these Callaway X-20 Irons an A+. They are long, forgiving, feel great, and aren't too massive like other game-improvement irons.

About Callaway X-20 Irons

The goal of Callaway's X-Series irons has always been lofty: to set the performance standard for the industry. Enter the Callaway X-20 Irons stainless-steel iron set, which features new grooves that conform to the "conditions of competition" for the 2010 PGA Tour. As a result, the irons maximize playability with every swing. The Callaway X-20 Irons is made using specific core technologies that create a lower center of gravity than most other iron brands. The technologies start with Extreme Notch Weighting, which redistributes the weight to the low, rearward area of the toe and heel, creating a high moment of inertia (MOI). This improves your distance and accuracy on mis-hits at the heel and toe, making it easier to approach the green.

The Callaway X-20 Irons also take advantage of Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology, which allows Callaway engineers to lower the center of gravity to produce an optimum trajectory with each Callaway X-20 Irons in the set, giving long irons a higher launch angle and short irons and wedges a better trajectory height. Add in a 180-Degree Undercut Channel--which maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the center of gravity even lower and farther back--and you have a club with a large sweet spot that hits the ball far and straight even on rough swings.

From the makers of the #1 Irons in Golf for 13 years and counting, the new Callaway X-20 Irons feature new grooves that conform to the new Condition of Competition played on Tour in 2010. Using core technologies to deliver distance and playability, the Callaway X-20 Irons feature a lower center of gravity to optimize ball flight and improve feel. Extreme Notch Weighting creates a high MOI for stability and control. VFT Technology creates hot ball speeds for longer distance and the 180-Degree Undercut Channel helps increase the size of the sweet spot. Enhance your confidence through total performance.
I've owned the X18s and X20s. The Callaway X-20 Irons are larger with a wider sole. Forgiving with a muted feel. As with all Callaway GI irons, there is noticeable offset. A mid to high handicapper will have confidence standing over the ball with this club. These Callaway X-20 Irons will also fit a weekend player than doesn't get to practice a lot. For me, it was a bit bulky so I traded them. Overall, the Callaway X-20 Irons are easy to hit and perform.

Diablo Edge, 2010 Winner

The Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is the superb winner of the 2010 gold medal, featured on the Hot List of the Golf Digest. Compared to other clubs, the Hyperbolic Face Technology of its design ensures greater ball speed when hitting off-center. This significantly improves the total distances during an off-center hit.

The Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver also reduces the drag in a downswing, resulting in higher impact speed. The aerodynamic body designs optimize and refine the edge transitions, thus reducing drag by 8 percent compared to other driver heads of 460cc. They truly believe in the game and to help golfers at any skill level to find success and infinite enjoyment. They realize golf is a game of passion, trying to help golfers feeling the sensation of a perfect strike.

Should you be looking for the best and also the most suitable driver for your game of golf, you may have just found the right one. This Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver can certainly help you get the best performance of your life. The following will show how it helps achieve that goal and its main benefits.

Callaway Diablo Edge Driver Main Features:
Built with Callaway’s core technology – S2H2 giving a reduced weighting hosel and one of the world’s most stable golf drivers
Distance-optimised golf driver with penetrating ball flight using a Titanium modular 4-piece fusion design
Enhanced aerodynamics in the design lowers drag in downswings which outputs a higher impact speed.
Improved impact efficiency and consistent high ball speed with a hyperbolic club face
Gold medal winner in Golf Digest’s Hot List for 2010

The weight from the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is vitally important. That’s the reason why that Callaway’s 4 piece fused titanium design, the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver is created in this kind of a way to make 100% certain that the weight is equally or proportionately dispersed to allow for the best overall performance in general. As soon as this is achieved, distance of the ball can also be considerably increased.

Our experience with the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver was certainly a positive one. Prone to a high or ballooning ball flight with his current driver, or tester was able to able to produce consistently optimal trajectory with the Diablo. Even better, the Callaway Diablo EDGE Driver was very forgiving, as off-center hits did not typically produce disastrous results.

Diablo EDGE Driver, For Every Golfers

For skilled and not-so-skilled amateur golfers alike, finding a driver that one can pick up and hit long, straight, and reliably is no easy task. That’s why clubmakers continue to push the boundaries of design science just as far as the USGA and the R&A will allow; it behooves players like us to avail ourselves of these advances. The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver s a prime example of this concept in action (long-down-the-middle action). Hit the jump to get our thoughts and see how this devilish driver can help you put your partners to shame.

The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver is specifically designed to give you the edge in distance you’re looking for. As Golf Digest’s 2010 Hot List gold medal winner the Diablo Edge includes a much superior club face, a increased MOI, increased CG depth, and improved aerodynamics – all these features add up to a longer and more accurate shot from the tee. The all-titanium driver is regarded by many buyers as the best driver Callaway has ever produced.

Main Benefits of the Callaway Diablo Edge Driver:
The Diablo Edge Driver will allow you to have longer ball flights via the reduction of drag in your downswing. Calllaway have done this with enhancements in weighting and aerodynamics. This is acheived via Callaway’s advanced engineering in producing a unique build with the fusion of 4 titanium elements to acheive weight efficiency and the end result is an improved club head aerodynamics.
I was so impressed with the original Diablo Driver that I was almost afraid to try this one. After all, I had just started to be won over by Callaway's latest offerings. I was truly in fear that I was about to be rather underwhelmed by a second generation driver that represented change for change's sake. Instead, I was once again pleasantly surprised as Callaway continues to obviously be sinking lots of money into research and development, as well as quality control. The Diablo Edge is indeed a cut above the original. There's a lot of technology in this one, so don't let that "Christmas Ornament On A Shaft" look of the original make you shy about trying this one. Whereas I called the first Diablo Driver--"Callaway's Tribute to the TaylorMade Burner", this one continues in that vein, however, there's more than just a slight tip of the hat to Cobra on this one. Lest that begins to sound too much like a messy hodge podge of wannabe compromises, follow me here on this one. Callaway continues to impress, and here's why.

X-22 Tour, Full of New Features

To make improvements on the highly successful X20 tour irons, Callaway X-22 tour irons were introduced. New features have been added by Callaway Golf that allow the new x22 tour irons to play even better and feel even softer than the previous model. Today we will see how it works with these new features and technologies.
Precision Notch Weighting
Precisely positions more weight to the perimeter of the iron to create a higher MOI for greater forgiveness and stability while maintaining the CG position that produces ideal trajectories and feel.
Tour-Proven Head Shape
Features the thinnest topline possible while still incorporating a360-Degree Undercut Channel. The blade length is shorter and the CG has been moved lower and in line with the center of the face to provide unparalleled performance with enhanced feel.
Redesigned Hosel
The sleeker design significantly improves feel and allows the hosel to be more easily adjusted to fit a golfer's custom specifications.
Sole Width Progression
The sole width of each iron has been optimized based on the length and loft to provide better turf interaction through the entire set.
Callaway Golf Core Technologies
VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness. 360-Degree Undercut Channel maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.
Got these irons about 3 months ago and love them. I used to love playing blades but soon realised I was loosing out. Distance is not as good as some but feel and accuracy are great. Pretty good forgiveness for a better players club but you can still tell when you've miss hit it. Project X 6.0 flighted shaft is good as it keeps the ball down a bit in the shorts irons but helps get the ball up a bit in the long irons. Good for a low ball player (like me). If you're looking for a set of irons that are the next step up from game improvement irons but don't want to go to full players clubs, give these a try, they are worth it.

X22 Irons VS X24 Irons

Maybe Callaway is perceived as a “driver” company to the outside world, but we know since the late 1990s this firm has actually sold more irons than any other manufactures each year. Its ever popular X series irons franchise has a lot to do with the company’s success. From the first generation to the latest seventh Callaway x24 irons, which is billed as the longest, most accurate X series iron, targets all players regard who seek turbocharged distance in an iron regardless of handicap.
Do the Callaway x24 irons live up to the reputations of X-series irons and really bring the breakthrough on our irons swing? Today we will make a comparison between the latest X24 irons and the previous X22 Irons set.

The Callaway X-22 irons are outfitted with several core technologies, including both relatively new innovations and technologies that have stood the test of time. Callaway maximized the perimeter weighting of the x-22 irons to create a moment of inertia (MOI) that‘s 10 percent higher earlier versions, giving you more leeway on off-center strikes. This improves the x22 irons overall forgiveness and stability, while still maintaining the center of gravity position that produces an ideal trajectory and feel.
The Callaway X-22 Irons Variable Face Thickness technology, meanwhile, maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting to create even more distance and forgiveness. And a crucial improvement comes in the forms of the S2H2 design, a patented technology that shortens the length of the hosel, allowing the weight to be moved lower than to the more useful perimeter area of the club head. Add in a 360 Degree Undercut Channel which maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the center of gravity even lower and farther back. Then you will be having a club that hit the bar far and straight even on rough swings.
Now it’s turn to check the Callaway X -24 Irons technological designs. Designed and built to enhance performance and increase ball speed, the Callaway X-24 Irons can offer a hot club face with a large sweet spot to generate faster balls speed, even on off –center hits. These X-24 Irons utilize Callaway’s Precision Notch Weighting to move more weight to the perimeter of the club head. This enables an optional center of gravity position for stronger trajectories while promoting pinpoint accuracy and control. The X-24 Irons technology and Modified TruBore technology which introduces a shorter, straighter, hollow hosel design that allows more weight to move into the perimeter of the clubs head while the 360-Degree Undercut Channel further maximizes perimeter weighting for CG that is even lower and farther back in the club head. Finished with a stealth PVD finish, plus all new technologies, the X-24 Hot Irons full of distance can be experienced by us.

In a word, both of them are for most of us regardless of handicap. As for the price tag, it seems the X-22 Irons bring more value because the X-24 Irons is more expensive. GO get a try and you will know the difference and pick one that fits you finally. Good Luck!

Best golf iron ever got 2010 Callaway RAZR X Irons review

I just tried the Callaway RAZR X iron and for me this is the best irons I have ever tried. Playability and accuracy of these irons is unbelievable. I just ordered a set of the new Callaway RAZR X on the golf online shop Cheap golf clubs and I'm looking forward to break my 6 handicap with the help of this new equipment

Most irons today are designed to maximize one specific performance benefit either – distance, forgiveness or feel – while sacrificing all other critical areas needed to hit more greens. That's why RAZR Technology is such a breakthrough. This Technology leads the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide-sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction advantages of a thin-sole iron.

The new RAZR X irons is Callaway's new flagship. Introduced for the 2011' season, the leader in technology vowed to provide an iron to the masses that would deliver in distance and forgiveness with a wide-sole, with retaining playability and turf interaction of a thin-sole. Team Callaway made this monumental task look easy.

Key Technologies: The all-stainless steel iron repositions 30 grams to the lower portion of the cavity, to create a large sweet spot in line with where average golfers strike the ball (low on the face). Consistent, high ball speeds combine with stronger lofts (long irons strengthened by 2°, short irons by 1°) to produce shots that fly 5 yards longer on average than X-22s.
The RAZR X is a game-improvement iron that has a huge hitting area. Replacing the X-22 and X-24 Hot in Callaway's line, each of the eight irons in the standard RAZR X set are made using a new variable face thickness technology, which makes the hitting area thinner as you move away from the center. This feature broadens the sweet spot and maintains ball speed on off-center hits.

PLAYABILITY: Offset head allows for natural draw bias; lower center of gravity produces towering shots.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Mis-hits don't sacrifice much in terms of distance or direction; a few testers believe it's impossible to lose shots to the right.
DISTANCE CONTROL: Several testers get up to one full club of extra length through the set.
FEEL: Many testers find it to be very solid yet soft at impact—a steamroller through the hitting zone.
LOOK: Significant offset and massive sole let you know the ball will get up easily and won't slice.

New Generation of Design Callaway RAZR X Irons Review

Callaway released another red hot iron set of this year, the Callaway RAZR X irons. Most irons today are designed to maximize one specific performance benefit - Distance, Forgiveness or Feel - while sacrificing all other critical areas needed to hit more greens .To consistently hit it close and shoot lower scores, golfers need to be able to make shots from all areas of the golf course. That's why RAZR technology is such a breakthrough. This technology will lead the industry into the next generation of iron design by delivering the distance and forgiveness of a wide sole iron while retaining the playability and turf interaction of a thin sole iron. These new offers from Callaway are sold at discount golf prices in many online stores around Christmas.

RAZR X irons feature a lower, deeper center of gravity and a consistently hot face for distance and accuracy. In head-to-head tests, the new Callaway RAZR X irons are 56% more accurate than a competitor's iron that chases distance at the cost of accuracy. Tighter Shots, Shorter Putts, Lower Scores.

RAZR Technology shifts the center of gravity 12% lower and 15% deeper by redistributing 30 grams of weight in the back cavity; providing the power and forgiveness of a wide-sole iron with the precision and playability of a thin-sole iron.
A refined VFT Face and High-Definition Undercut cavity are tailored to each individual iron. The result is more consistent ball speeds across the face for more distance and accuracy, even on miss-hits.

Tour CC Grooves on the Callaway RAZR X irons provide golfers with increased spin for aggressive shot-making. Debuting on the PGA Tour in 2010 and found in the bags of two Major championship winners plus the FedExCup champion, these grooves are found only on Callaway's forged products. This proprietary design produces 30% more grooves on the club face.

Experience from Callaway X24

I was hitting Callaway X-20 irons and liked them but noticed a loss of distance from my old set of Cobra irons and was seeking to make that distance up. Looking at the specs on the Callaway X-24 HOT Irons, the lofts are stronger. Knowing that there were design similarities between the 20's and the Callaway X-24 HOT Irons, I pulled the trigger. I bought the 4-PW along with both the SW and AW to complete my set. I like the Uniflex Shaft and stuck with it. I got an awesome deal on the set in "Like New" condition and, after my trade-in, ended up only a little over $100 into the new set. In under a week I had my new irons and was ready to test them out.

Starting with the acquisition of Top Flite/Strata/Ben Hogan, Callaway's clubs have slowly but surely come back up the the original quality that brought them to the forefront of golf manufacturers with the original Big Bertha Driver and Big Bertha Irons. These Callaway X-24 HOT Irons are definitely Callaway's best "X" series irons since the old World Beating X-14's.  They have semi-strong, but not ridiculous lofts on them. They have exceptionally good balance for off the rack clubs. The PVD Finish is really very good looking, and I'm glad to see the big boys jump onto the PVD Bandwagon that started with the little custom shop guys.  Really a very nice set of irons indeed.
From the makers of the No.1 Irons in Golf for the last 13 years and counting comes the longest, most accurate X Series iron ever. These clubs are powered by a consistently hot face that generates peak ball speeds for maximum distance with pinpoint accuracy. The stealth PVD finish provides a distinctive look that minimizes glare.

VFT Face Technology

A robust, hot clubface with a large sweet spot generates faster balls speeds for maximum distance, even on off-center hits.

Precision Notch Weighting

More weight in the perimeter of the
Callaway X-24 HOT Irons head promotes pinpoint accuracy and control and enables an optimal CG position that provides strong trajectories.
